SMHUB Nano MG24

Compact Linux-based smart home hub with EFR32MG24 multi-protocol radio – your all-in-one automation brain for Zigbee, Thread, Matter & more

Compact Linux Smart Home Hub with Multi-Protocol Radio

SMHUB Nano MG24 combines a powerful dual‑core SoC with Silicon Labs EFR32MG24 radio to deliver Zigbee, Thread, Matter, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Ethernet connectivity in a single, silent device. Designed to replace separate Raspberry Pi, Zigbee coordinators, and VPN boxes, it runs dedicated SMHUB-OS Linux with preinstalled Zigbee2MQTT, MQTT broker, Matterbridge, Node-RED, WireGuard, and more.

🖥️ Full Linux System

Runs Zigbee2MQTT, Mosquitto MQTT, Matterbridge, Node-RED, WireGuard VPN locally. Start integrating devices immediately without cloud or extra servers.

📡 Multi-Radio Core

EFR32MG24 for Zigbee/Thread/Matter plus onboard dual‑band Wi‑Fi 6, Bluetooth and Ethernet connectivity, with external 2.4 GHz antenna for superior range.

🔗 Universal Integration

Works with Home Assistant, OpenHAB, HomeSeer. Exposes Zigbee devices directly to Google Home/Apple Home via Matterbridge – no extra hubs needed.

High-Performance Hardware and Power Options

Under the hood, the device packs a versatile SOPHGO SG2000 SoC, which allows you to boot into either a 1 GHz RISC-V or an Arm Cortex-A53 core, supported by 512 MB of RAM and 8 GB of eMMC storage. The SMHUB Nano MG24 is highly adaptable when it comes to power supply. It can be powered via standard USB-C or Power over Ethernet (PoE), and it supports an optional UPS module that takes standard 18650 batteries—making it resilient against power outages and highly suitable for off-grid or solar-powered installations.

Perfect For

  • Replacing fragmented setups (Pi + dongle + VPN router)
  • Professional smart home installations
  • Local-first automation without cloud dependency
  • Google/Apple Home Zigbee integration
  • Future-proof Matter/Thread readiness
