Home Assistant Connect ZBT-2 is the second generation of a professional USB adapter designed to create a stable and powerful network for a smart home. It is a direct replacement for the popular ZBT-1 (SkyConnect) with significant improvements in performance, range, and stability. The adapter allows you to connect all Zigbee 3.0 and Thread devices directly to your Home Assistant system without needing additional hubs or cloud services.
Key Advantages
🚀 4× Higher Performance
The new Silicon Labs MG24 chip combined with increased baud rate (460,800 bps instead of the original 115,200 bps) provides significantly faster device response and seamless control of device groups.
📡 Optimized Antenna
A standalone antenna with an improved base provides better range, better reception of weak signals, and higher network throughput. Vertical placement minimizes interference.
🔌 Plug-and-Play Setup
Simply connect via USB-C cable to your Home Assistant hub (Green, Yellow, Raspberry Pi, etc.) and an intuitive wizard will guide you through the entire setup in minutes.
🔄 Easy Migration
Add the new adapter to your existing network and use the built-in tool for seamless migration. Your devices and automations remain untouched.
🛡️ Local Security
All communication happens locally without dependence on cloud services or internet connection. Full control over your smart home.
