Users can add the device directly to platforms like Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant by scanning the provided QR code. Once connected, the lighting can be managed through voice commands or smart home applications to set up automated scenarios, adjust brightness levels, or change color profiles.

The GL-C-218M is engineered to support substantial lighting configurations. It features a maximum total output current of 20A, which is capable of powering longer LED strip setups—typically spanning 15 to 20 meters in length—without experiencing performance loss. The unit utilizes a standardized 6-pin output layout (R, G, B, C, W, V+) to deliver accurate power distribution and control over each individual color channel.

Manual Controls and Commissioning

Alongside wireless control, the controller includes physical interfaces for immediate local adjustments. A built-in push-button enables users to switch the lights on and off with a short press, adjust brightness via a long press, and cycle through different colors. The device also offers straightforward reset methods for network pairing: holding the button for 5 seconds places it in pairing mode, or users can execute a power reset by turning the unit off and on five times.
